Two weeks after the tragic explosion in the East Village, the neighborhood was trying to rebuild, with small businesses there still struggling to pick up the pieces and survive.

The most severely impacted shops were barely doing business, with one reportedly selling just $20 in merchandise over the course of an entire day, and another reporting a revenue decrease of 65-70% since the blast.

In an effort to reverse some of this misfortune, blogger Jeremiah Moss and #SaveNYC organized a small business crawl to reintroduce New Yorkers and visitors to the once thriving businesses here and give them a taste of the diverse and delicious food.
